Well I’ve got what I wanted, chemo starts 6 days from now.  Now I feel slightly at a loose end again.

Finished a piece of work off and released it.  Just a bit of documentation to write up now.  I must get down to writing again.  I’ve had two more ideas for stories and I’ve still not finished the dinosaur story for my grandson.  I have found out what one of the dinosaurs is that he wants for a pet. It’s a thing called a spinosaur, a bit like a t-rex, only bigger and nastier.  I really can’t see his Mum agreeing to that. What if it steps on their house, they’ve only just finished the extension.

I’ve been helping with some research into my prosopagnosia (face recognition problems), and when they were saying I only had a few months left I decided to ask if they wanted to dissect my brain (preferably post mortem).  They said yes please. Now I’ve had to write and apologise that it might be somewhat delayed.  They were very nice about it, didn’t seem upset at all.

Anyway I spent half an hour scanning a huge document on my prosopagnosia, then discovered something went wrong in the handshake between the scanner and the PC. I lost the lot!

Re yesterday’s joke,  Chris Rogers asked “Would engineers have also bought the 12 loaves of bread?- still thinking about it”

I’m not sure either, but here are the proofs that all odd numbers are prime.

WARNING
This joke may offend Mathematicians, Physicists and Engineers who do understand it, and anyone who doesn’t because they think a prime is something you put on a wall before you paint it.

Mathematician’s proof that all odd numbers are prime:
1 is a prime, 3 is a prime, 5 is a prime, 7 is a prime, 9 is a special case, so we can exclude it…..

Physicist’s proof that all odd numbers are prime:
1 is a prime, 3 is a prime, 5 is a prime, 7 is a prime, 9 nearly the same as 7, and that’s a prime….

Engineer’s proof that all odd numbers are prime:
1 is a prime, 3 is a prime, 5 is a prime, 7 is a prime, 9 is a prime…..

  1. I prefer the engineer’s proof of prime!!!!!

  2. All three proofs offends logicians very much.

By the way, do you shop at Primark?

I have known you since Primary School.
