By tomorrow night I’ll be 50% of the way through this second chemo. That will be a good milestone.

Most of the time I’m feeling good, but there is one problem I have played down.

The drugs they give you all seem to be constipative. All of them!  This means the rest of this post should probably not be read at breakfast.  You have been warned.

It was not good on the first chemo, but this time it’s worse.  It seems that I have a complete blockage.

If I take any medication, either it does nothing, or it works all too well, and I have to spend my time very close to the little room (fortunately we have three of these – aah such wealth and luxury).

Right now I’ve had 4 (four, FOUR) sachets and am waiting for the consequences.  I fear this will not be a fun time.

Still other things have gone well. We’ve had the date of my first post-op scan (7 Dec) and this morning was a pleasant time with our group of Welsh learners. Even better one of them wants to learn Anglo-Saxon as well, so I’ve got to send details of our meeting on Monday about that.
