I did it. I ate pigs in blankets. (Cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon – just in case anyone is getting worried.)
Beryl grilled four of them, and I managed to eat three. It hurt a bit at the end, but not too bad.
And for dinner I had lamb kebab with homegrown salad and sliced egg. It was pushing it, but I did it, and I ate everything.
Actually I did need that encouragement. I checked my weight and it was 86Kg, down 1 Kg.
Of course that is meaningless, 1Kg is within normal variation. So it doesn’t mean anything, honestly, it doesn’t. But I’ll check again tomorrow just in case. I’ve been steady for over a week. If I am losing weight again, then I’ll have to do something about it. But 1Kg is a meaningless difference, isn’t it.
And lastly I was on local radio today being interviewed for one of their talk programmes. I thought I sounded dreadful, but everyone else says I sounded OK. They asked me about the cancer, and about the stuff I’ve written, including some of the True Tales I’ve put on this website. I just hope the local listeners found it interesting.
Hi Malcolm
I am getting a bit concerned that once you get through your treatment your celebrity status may mean you stop doing the development work – next time I’ll see you is on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!”
Take Care
