This morning I took my grand-daughter, the Blond Bombshell, to the archeological dig, the  one she missed on Wednesday.

I did not know what to expect, but they were prepared for me, with work I could do cleaning old Roman BBQ ribs, at least that’s what they looked like. It was actually rather interesting, and they had a real roundhouse, complete with clay walls.  Very good day.

We are leaving tomorrow early for Harlech where we will be enjoying a week’s break, going back to the places we last saw years ago.  And because I never got to Criccieth (for some unknown reason) I’ll go there for the first time, and try the famous Cadwallader’s icecream.

So how much access I will have to the internet is not clear.  I’ll post if I can.

Meanwhile I’ve had a sore throat, and small but worrying problems eating some foods, like nuts, chips and wholemeal bread.  So I rang the Christie, who said ring 111, who said go to GoToDoc, who found the Thrush.

Apparently it’s all about the body’s damaged immune system.  Best caught and fixed, but not serious.
