The last time I tried chips, months ago, the pain was terrible. It didn’t help that they were slightly overcooked and had a few hard edges, but I later found that ordinary mashed potato had the same effect. Pain.

Today it was fish and chips, with parsley sauce, it was beautiful.  I had two sausages for breakfast, TWO.  And a Holland’s mince beef and onions pie for lunch.

Things seem to be improving fast.  I tried ringing the MacMillian Nurse, but she does not work Tuesdays.  I’ll talk to her tomorrow, then Thursday I go for my first checkup at the Christie.  See what they say as well.

I’m still tiring very easily though. I tried to do some work this afternoon, and found concentration very hard.  To make it all worse this is the week of the Drama Group production of Separate Tables by Terrance Rattigan.  I can’t do much more than be a driver and supervisor, but it left me very tired. My legs are hurting too.

  1. Yeah, Terrance Rattigan can have that effect on people.

Did you hear about the two druggies who got their heroin mixed up with curry powder?
Both went to hospital – one in a coma (Korma), the other had a dodgy ticker (Tikka).

    Works best when spoken.
