It’s another of those days when nothing much happens, at least as regards the cancer.

Lots of other stuff. We checked the greenhouse the salads are growing well and so far the slugs are not. I got paid for the use of my translation of a Welsh song Calon Lan (it got used by Russell Watson on one of his collections). A reviewer offered to review “Aftermath”, the collection of stories I was hoping to publish before all this started, and I discovered I can eat ground rice with jam and meat pies with homemade pastry (but not both at the same time).

And I did get some work done for a client, and I’m awaiting a response. I feel a bit better about that, less guilt!

I suppose dealing with everyday details like that is helpful, it reminds you that, however I may feel, the rest of the world is still there, and needs to be considered.

Oh and I nearly forgot. I got an appointment for 15 April for presurgery tests on my heart and lung function. The really interesting fact is that is was postmarked Wednesday, the day before the last scan, which suggests they expected the allclear which they found.  I do not intend to complain!
