This is the day I would expect the side effects to kick in.
So far, so good. I’m constipated (You really did want to know that!), permanently thirsty, there is a metallic taste in my mouth, and occasional slight nausea. Other than that I am OK. Not nice, but I can cope. The tiredness is still there, but the feeling of demotivation is getting less.
So I’m trying to catch up with my life.
First item, the Community Association are putting on a debate for the Leave / Remain referendum (Klondyke Club, Wednesday 7pm if you are local and interested). So we need mikes and a PA.
Fortunately my wife’s drama group has them in storage, however our new electronics techie needed to play with them first, so we organised that. All sorted and the techie says she is happy with the kit. She’s the techie, and she knows what she is talking about.
Next I wanted to complete some scripts for the drama group (a radio thriller and a murder mystery), both done.
Last job, (probably tomorrow) try to complete some of the website work that I have been leaving undone. I’m feeling guilty about it, even though the clients have been very understanding.
But 19 days chemo to go, and even longer before I get the results of the scan.
I still hate waiting.
I on the other hand have become house bound due to rain and am now beating the computer at several different cards games instead of doing housework. Demotivation again and yet his nibs is so much better.
I will go to Stockport Monday and get shopping done for 2 grand kids and 2 sons birthdays and a nephew and niece and some other cards as well. 8 birthdays and a wedding in the next 6 weeks. Do your worst rain at least the veggies are benefitting.
