Tomorrow I go to the Christie for the checkups before I start the second round of chemo. My wife and Nr2 son are coming with me.
I’m going to push for as quick a start as they can manage. I want this finished, I am weary of it, utterly weary.
Still today was another good day. I got some useful work done (even if rather slowly), and I’ll get paid for it!
The Levenshulme Players finished recording one of my scripts “Brood of Vipers” , everyone had a great time, especially the bits were someone fluffs a line and we had to restart the recording. I even got dragged in for a single line (“You ready, one, two…” ) then exits playing the sound effect of a set of bagpipes. It had to be in a Scots accent, so any Scots who hear it please forgive me. All that is needed now is to add the sound effects. and chat up our local radio station.
Best of all, I think I really am out of Withdrawal.
