I’ve got the Oxycodone down to 5mg  / day, and no noticeable side effects.  What’s more I was able to eat a whole helping of shepherd’s pie in one go.

Okay, I wasn’t able to eat any pudding or have a drink afterwards, I was so full, but I did it!

Another thing to be glad about, I seemed to be rasping a bit when I breathed, so I decided to get it checked out.  Went to the GP, and was told I have a slight infection in my left lung (bit surprising – that’s the smaller lung that they didn’t mess about with). So I’ve got  some antibiotic which should fix it.  If I’d not gone, then it might have got worse and possibly delayed my second chemo.  I’m glad I went.

And I actually started to feel a bit more like a human being (although my beloved wife still insists it must be an illusion).

Meanwhile my wife says there are more people wanting to join our language learners groups, one for Welsh and one for Anglo-Saxon.  That’s an encouragement

I’m sure there will be some bad days to come, but I thought I’d mention there are good days as well.

And now I’m going to bed.  Nos da everyone or gōde niht if you prefer a different old language.

  1. Just to let you know, even though I have been silent over the last couple of months …, I am continuing to pray for you.

Good to hear there are good days. I pray they will very quickly outnumber the bad ones.
