We have conducted extensive research and implemented a full bilateral interaction with our on-going blogging readership.  (We asked for comments and got two replies back).

We have decided on a ongoing tri-lateral approach to resolutions to the challenge of the blog frequency issue.  (We have decided on three steps about how often we post).

This is not to imply any negative or disrespectful approach to others who may hold to alternative, but equally valid, practices on this or any other subject or which may impact on personal and / or cultural feelings of self- validification and dignity by members of other, equally valid, communities. (Not the faintest idea what this paragraph means, but it looks good)

So:

  1. I’ll post when I’ve got sumat to say about my cancer, or twice a week in any case.
  2. I’ll also post on any other subject that I feel like wittering on about. Please feel free to tell me if you think I’m getting boring, or just silly
  3. My wife will post the story from her side in a series of posts starting later today.

And if you don’t like it, then you should have said so when you had the chance.

  1. Quite right too Keep on blogging Cowen

  2. Malcolm, I met you on the faceblind group and followed you here. I’ve always been impressed with your ability to deal with the faceblind issues.

I also survived cancer so can relate to the physical and emotional upsets with that. Pretty scary.

I live in the U.S. and love having an inside view of life in England. I’m so glad that you have decided to continue and I look forward to your posts.

Please consider your blog to be a valuable tool in maintaining really good international relations!

  3. Oh gosh, sorry. Have I missed my chance to comment? Come on, Malcolm, if David Cameron can extend the deadline, can’t you? I tend to read blocks of a few days as I don’t always have time to do every day. So I’m up to date a couple of times a week. I know I’ll be behind with news and competition entries but I can cope with that. Anyway, my preference is…I like everything! I love to know what you eat for tea; I enjoy the descriptions of your family; and I like to know how you are getting on, health wise. You are more than your illness so it makes sense that everything is there. But at the end of the day, you’re in control. Well, you’re not, actually. I’m afraid Beryl is the boss!
