Jul 012016

I took the tablets out of the box and threw the box and the empty strips away.  Well actually my wife picked them up and made me put them in the bin, but the thought was there.

So now there are two dates to watch, 4 Jul for the scan and 11 Jul for the results.

Till then I’ve got to do my physio and put some more weight on and generally be as fit as I can be.  I’ll do my best!

As for these posts, I’m not sure what to do.  Obviously I won’t be able to do anything while in hospital – which is basically August, so I’ll ask SheWhoMustBeObeyed to do a blog.  But I promise any news will be here first.

Meanwhile I’ll probably get on adding more stuff to this website.  There’s quite a few stories to tell from my own chronicles of wasted time.

And the solution to the puzzle.  Simple (and I did keep mentioning the number of days of chemo left, and I did point out that it was not the right season) :

OTTDOC      On the twelfth day of Christmas (or Chemo as Liz pointed out)
MTLSTM      my true love sent to me:
TDD         12 Drummers Drumming
EPP         Eleven Pipers Piping
TLL         Ten Lords a Leaping
NLD         Nine Ladies Dancing
EMM         Eight Maids a Milking
SSS         Seven Swans a Swimming
SGL         Six Geese a Laying
FGR         Five Golden Rings
FCB         Four Calling Birds
TFH         Three French Hens
TTD         Two Turtle Doves
PPT         and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

Congratulations to Liz and to my wife (and no I did not give her any more clues than I gave everyone else)

  2. Another “YAY!” from me too. Well done 🙂

  3. Just wanted to say ‘Yay!’ on the last day of chemo. I’ve followed your blog all the way through and will continue to ‘pop in’ and check out any new posts. We will continue to pray for the days ahead
